Birth Story Sharing Circle

Join us for a Birth Story Sharing Women’s Circle! This gathering is a safe, supportive space where women can share the real and raw experiences of birth to be seen, heard, and held by the women in our community.

We welcome all types of birth stories: hospital births, home births, traumatic experiences, ecstatic or orgasmic births, and everything in between. Whether your baby is a newborn, fully grown, or an angel baby, your story matters, and this is a space to share it.

All women are welcome— pregnant women and women who do not have children are welcome. It is important to note that not every birth story is positive. This is a space where women can share the details of their birth freely. Hearing traumatic birth stories can be triggering, especially for pregnant women.

There is no obligation to share. You are welcome to come listen to the stories of mothers in our community. Storytelling is powerful medicine. We are here to celebrate joyful births and to help alchemize traumatic births. Listening and holding space are important parts of these circles.

This event is held on private property, so please email nikki@bornfreefamily.com to RSVP for the address.

Light refreshments will be served. You are welcome to bring something to share if you'd like, but it is not necessary; there will be plenty of food and drinks available.

Babies in arms are welcome, but please leave older, more mobile children at home. We love kids, but they can be distracting, and we want to be able to give each woman our full attention.

Feel free to share this with women who you think might be interested!
