This class is part of a 4 week series.
Physiological birth is an intuitive process that every woman can access. This occurs when a woman can birth her baby the way her body is naturally meant to. During a physiological birth, there are typically fewer complications because a woman is in a state where she can not only tune in to her intuition but also do exactly what she needs to birth her baby. In this class, we will be discussing how women have Physiological Births and how to prevent interference of the natural birth process.
Nikki is a Traditional Birth Attendant and Educator who serves women outside of the medical system. Born Free Yoga & Wellness was birthed to support freedom-minded women in their journey to sovereign healing and birthing. My mission is to help women achieve authentic balance and wellness in their lives. I serve women in my community by honoring them as an individual. Everyone is unique and the support I provide is reflective of that truth. I always strive to serve my community with full integrity.
Each week in the series Angelina will guide our prenatal yoga practice for 45 minutes followed by a presentation related to birthing preparation, birth, or postpartum. Each presenter is passionate about the topic they are discussing and we encourage you to stay and ask any questions you may have. Light refreshments will be available following our yoga practice.
Our yoga practice will include gentle warmups and slow movement through postures that are modified for pregnancy throughout each trimester. We will practice breathing throughout, build pelvic floor engagement, and focus on positive mantras for ourselves and the new life (or lives) we have within our womb. We will end in a supported savasana, finding relaxation and ease in our bodies.
